Generic Banner
Generic banners call out a single piece of information(often with a button) or introduce a page’s content.
Generic banners span the full width of the page and are used to call out a single piece of information (often with a button), or as page content themselves. Use a generic banner to bring visual hierarchy to the content on the page. If there is key content you want to draw attention to, the generic banner is a good choice. Generic banners are typically found at the tops of pages as introductions when the page’s topic does not match up with a strong visual element (in which case, a Content Image Banner would be used).
Additionally, generic banners are found within the bodies of pages to call out key content or introduce subsections of pages.
